With friends like U.S.

Well, President Obama has found another “teaching moment”; he has shown the world what happens when you actually get what you wish for…sadly, very often you are sorely disappointed.

After receiving unwarranted praise from around the planet just this past year while running for President, headlines today regarding Obama are now proclaiming loudly: “Dismay in Europe as Obama ditches missile defence” and “Betrayal! The U.S. sold us to Russia and stabbed us in the back”.

Oh what a difference a year makes.

Continuing his disturbing attraction to abandoning America’s allies (Israel, Honduras, etc.) to side with undemocratic forces around the globe, President Obama announced yesterday that he is scrapping the long promised U.S. missile defense system, leaving many of our allies in a lurch and having to reassess the reliability of the United States as a dependable partner.



So let’s recap. After bolding stating in Prague in April of this year (less than five months ago):

“So let me be clear: Iran's nuclear and ballistic missile activity poses a real threat, not just to the United States, but to Iran's neighbors and our allies. The Czech Republic and Poland have been courageous in agreeing to host a defense against these missiles. As long as the threat from Iran persists, we will go forward with a missile defense system that is cost-effective and proven. (Applause.) If the Iranian threat is eliminated, we will have a stronger basis for security, and the driving force for missile defense construction in Europe will be removed. (Applause.)”

President Obama has broken all of his pledges to the contrary and done a complete 180 on this issue.

Color me not surprised.

By breaking his word yet once again, Mr. Obama continues his steady march to marginalize himself and the United States as a serious player on the world stage; not to mention undercut our moral authority and our trustworthiness as a partner in international affairs.

This type of underhanded activity is not only blatantly treacherous and disloyal to our allies and the cause of democracy, but weakens our position in international circles and places our nation in danger and jeopardizes our national security by alienating us from our historic allies and leaving us to face an increasingly hostile and anti-American world on our own.

The LAST Black U.S. President?

Democrats, via their allies in the State Owned UN-Mainstream Media, are showing signs of desperation at their precipitous drop in the polls since the '08 election and they are now fighting back in the only way they know how. Faced with growing resistance to their radical push to reshape America in their own twisted image, and unable to defend their ideas in open and honest political debate, the Democratic Party is once again falling back on their once reliable tactic of smearing anyone who disagrees with them as [insert slander here; i.e. racist, homophobe, greedy, heartless, et al.]. The current slander de jour is racism, because, obviously, no one in the United States could possibly be opposed to President Obama and his policies for any other reason that racial bigotry, right?

While the race card has worked often for them in the past, due to their crumbling credibility and the increasingly dwindling reach of their liberal media propagandists allies in today’s “MSM", people appear to have finally had enough of this sort of indefensible demagoguery and they are not buying this time around; as the tactic does not seem to be gaining the type of political traction that it has in the past.

While the Democrats and their cronies continue to obliviously try to steamroll their radical agenda against the wishes the a large and vocal segment of the American population, it occurs to me that these would be fascists have missed a very important and obvious part of American culture, and that in doing so it may come back to bite them in the arse (not to mention harmed the political future of "minority" candidates of all stripes in the future).

U.S. citizens of all political ideologies have at least one thing in common; we like to complain about our elected political officials (often with good reason). In casting all criticism of President Obama as racist, I believe that the Democrats, in order for a short term victory, are setting up future minority candidates for a major backlash. How willing will the electorate be to vote for a black or other "minority" candidate in the future if they think that they will then be hemmed in from voicing any criticisms of those candidates’ actions once they are ensconced in office for fear of being painted with the label of "racist" for doing so? No one wants to be labeled a racist, and everyone wants to be able to voice their opinions and concerns...

You do the math; this can only hurt future minority candidates, and this frivolous and unethical misuse of the race card must be stopped immediately, and those who are willing to use it should be driven from office and made to pay a political cost for attempting to divide the American people to serve their own selfish political ends.

The House Is Burning Down...and They Just Keep Adding Fuel to the Fire

A discredited Congress that is held in low esteem by a record number of U.S. Citizens, which is littered with tax cheats and ethically challenged grafters, and which is lead by a condescending and politically abusive political hack who chooses to attack both those within the government, as well as citizens themselves, when it serves her purpose; and whose anti-USA efforts can often reach staggeringly hypocritical and openly bizarre heights of hubris, have finally found something that they find so heinous that they have been forced to act upon it and to reprimand one of their fellow members of Congress.

It would be laughable if it weren't just so blatantly immoral and politically partisan.

That this abominable collection of miscreants and reprobates yesterday would put themselves forward to judge Rep. Joe Wilson (R-SC) for daring to speak "Truth" within the hallowed halls of power in Washington,  D.C., should sicken any citizen who truly loves America, and who cares about ethics and good government.

As you read the links below, remember first and foremost that this culture of corruption did not spring forth out of nowhere; we must never forget that this mess can be laid squarely at the feet of a short-sighted and/or apathetic American Electorate.

Comrades Pelosi, Rangel, Dodd, Frank, Murtha & Co. may now find themselves for a brief period in a position to work this kind of political malfeasance my friends, but remind yourself daily, they did not get there on their own, and, thankfully, there is a solution beyond "HOPE".

Lawmaker's 'You lie' outburst draws House rebuke

"WASHINGTON – Bitterly divided along party lines, the House formally rebuked Republican Rep. Joe Wilson Tuesday for shouting "You lie" at President Barack Obama during last week's nationally televised speech to Congress.

The rare resolution of disapproval was pushed through by Democrats insisting that Wilson, a South Carolina lawmaker, had violated basic rules of decorum and civility in his outburst. Republicans dismissed the vote as a political "witch hunt" and a waste of precious time and taxpayers' money.

Wilson had called the White House to apologize shortly after the incident, and he said at the time that the president "graciously accepted my apology and the issue is over." Republicans agreed, but several Democrats pressed the issue. Read More"

Fact-Checking the President on Health Insurance

His tales of abuse don't stand scrutiny.

"In his speech to Congress last week, President Barack Obama attempted to sell a reform agenda by demonizing the private health-insurance industry, which many people love to hate. He opened the attack by asserting: 'More and more Americans pay their premiums, only to discover that their insurance company has dropped their coverage when they get sick, or won't pay the full cost of care. It happens every day.'


Clearly, this should never happen to anyone who is in good standing with his insurance company and has abided by the terms of the policy. But the president's examples of people "dropped" by their insurance companies involve the rescission of policies based on misrepresentation or concealment of information in applications for coverage. Private health insurance cannot function if people buy insurance only after they become seriously ill, or if they knowingly conceal health conditions that might affect their policy. Read More"
